Lohmann France expands with Avida Systems
Lohmann
France recently inaugurated its expansion to the hatchery in St.
Fulgent. They decided to use Avida 18 Single Stage setters and C192
hatchers with stainless steel interiors. The project includes the
Galaxy central computer system connected to the Genesis IV controls on
each of the setters and hatchers. The Chick Master Energy Management
division has designed and supplied the ventilation and cooling systems
for this expansion.
As part
of any new project, Chick Master provided on site training recently
during the start up of the expansion. David Marsh and Marek Plicht from
Chick Master reviewed machine operations, use of the Galaxy software,
stage programming and other machine maintenance issues. The objective
was to review all the tools that these advanced systems have to offer so
the Lohmann team can use them to their best advantage. Attending the
training sessions were Mr. Joel Adefray (Director of Lohmann France),
Denis Annerau (Hatchery Manager), Benoit Guilmineau (Assistant Hatchery
Manager), and Dominique Bonnet (Maintenance Manager). Christelle
Gelineau and Marie-Joel Guebert also participated. This was the first
step in the training process. David will be returning in a few weeks to
review the operations and results in the facility. This is an ongoing
process of constant training and communications with our customers.
Chick
Master is committed to working with our customers on training and in
addition to on site visits, we have organized many regional seminars
around the globe to exchange ideas and concepts with hatchery
management. We are honoured that the Lohmann Group has selected us for
this important expansion project.
